My Special Place

I was learning to write a poem using my senses. I found it hard because I didn't know what my special place smelt like. Next time I will try to take every thing in when ever I am in the room.

Year 6 Camp

I was learning to use show not tell in my writing and  show not tell writing is that you have to show how you feel so you don't just go like this'I am happy.'You go like this 'I was smiling the whole time we were walking.' And that way they have to infer. I found it hard because I kept getting confused on how to show my feeling in the writing;) 

My Kennings Poem

I was learning to write a kennings poem about  myself.
I felt like I did a excellent job on writing the poem because it was about myself and I followed the structure fantastically.
My next step is to stay focused because I get distracted a lot. 

My Did You Ever Poem

I was learning how to write a Did You Ever poem.
I felt like I did a good job because I followed the success criteria. I was really happy that I finished on time because I listened to the teacher and I didn't get confused.
My next step is to try work faster because I only just finished on time and I need to challenge  myself by using more interesting verbs and nouns. I need to use an exciting statement at the end so the reader can understand how I feel and get excited.
