Cry of the Taniwha Prejudice Example

I was learning to make a Prejudice example about a character in the book "Cry of the Taniwha" to understand his personalities.
I found it easy because they gave us a lot of clues and facts about the character's behaviour in the book and I also really enjoyed reading the book.
My next step is to try find the characters personalities with less help from the book by making inferences (reading between the lines).

Natural Disaster Brainstorm

My Popplet Reflection

I have been learning to summarise and record my research in my own words.
I found summarising the information into my own words easy because we were working in groups and could look in books and use a laptop I found this helpful for planning my narrative writing because I didn't know a lot about Tsunamis at the start.
Now I plan to find more information about other disasters and find a way to help out.

My Special Place

I was learning to write a poem using my senses. I found it hard because I didn't know what my special place smelt like. Next time I will try to take every thing in when ever I am in the room.
